2017-02-27

A 44-story, 486-ft.-tall mixed-use tower that will be the tallest in Cape Town, South Africa, is scheduled to start construction in April and be finished within two and half years, Africa Investor reports. It is being developed by Land Equity Group and FWJK, which is also the architect. Located at the corner of Adderley and Strand streets, Zero2ONE, also known as Exchange Place, is set to have more than 600 apartments, ample parking, 5,000 sq. ft. of retail, a restaurant and 360˚ viewing deck. The project is part of what Stuart Chait of Land Equity Group describes as an “aggressive development cycle” that will involve US$3 billion worth of projects in Sub-Saharan and South Africa.
